William Daniel (Dan) Sheppard III

William Daniel “Dan” Sheppard III, 70, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on November 27, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Maryann Miller Sheppard and William Daniel Sheppard Jr.. Dan lived a life defined by service, dedication, and a deep love for his family.

Dan proudly served four years in the United States Air Force before building a successful career as a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Wealth Management in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was respected for his integrity, professionalism, and genuine care for those he served.

A fourth-degree black belt and dedicated martial artist, Dan owned and operated a karate school, where he shared his passion for Kempo Karate and MMA. Dan inspired countless students through his discipline, patience, and leadership.

Dan also had a lifelong passion for fine automobiles and took great pride in his car collection. He was an active member of the Porsche Club of America, the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, and the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, where he enjoyed many lasting friendships.

More than any accomplishment, Dan treasured his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin Sheppard of 42 years; his daughters, Shannon Sheppard of Palm Beach, Florida, and Samantha Fabian and son in law Bruce, of Savannah, Georgia; his cherished grandsons, Grady Daniel Fabian and Beau Parker Fabian; and his brother, Mark Preston Sheppard and family of Johns Creek, Georgia.

Dan will be remembered for his strength, generosity, wisdom, and unwavering love. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the students he mentored, the friendships he nurtured, and the many lives he touched.

His memory will forever be a blessing.
