Bruce "Brucie" Westerman, age 76, of Savannah, went to her Heavenly home, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 30, 1949, in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Gary Garren and the late Randolph Wren Garren. She graduated from Norview High School, lived in Virginia and Maryland before moving to Savannah in 1995, making Tybee Island her home with her husband Stan of nearly thirty years. Brucie started her administrative career in the field of banking before retiring as a legal secretary. She and Stan were very social in the Tybee Island Community. She loved gardening, playing cards and her furbabies. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. Brucie was very outgoing. She loved her volunteer work and helping others. Brucie always stayed busy and was very active in her church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-one years, William Stanley Hedgcorth. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Blake Landfried of Waco, Texas and Anna Leigh Rovolis (Tash) of Savannah; her grandchildren, Connor Tash Rovolis and Shelby Elizabeth Rovolis; and two sisters. 

The family will hold a private celebration of life service at a later date.
