Mary Anderson Price, 97, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her daughter's home in Dunedin, Florida.  She was born July 29, 1928, in Glenwood, Georgia to the late Harris Mayo Anderson and Mandy Rogers Anderson.  Mrs. Price was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ray Price. She attended Vocational Technical School and Amstrong College where she was part of the first graduating class of Dental Assistants.  She was past president of the Georgia Dental Assistants Association and the Georgia Dental Assistants Association, as well as one of the first Certified Dental Assistants in Savannah.  During her dental career she worked for 26 years for Dr. William Weichelbaum and 18 years for Dr. Thomas Graham and also worked 5 years for Southern Bell Telephone Company in Savannah. She was a member of First Baptist Church of the Islands. 

Surviving Mrs. Price are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Charles Packham, and her son, Mark E. Price.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, Aimee Miller, Shawn Packham, Miranda Toth, Matthew Price, two great-grandsons, Austin Packham and Rhett Toth, and two great-granddaughters, Allissah Packham and Airanna Packham. 

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Brooks Cail officiating.
