Susan Elaine Kikkert Harvey, 82, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Memorial Health in Savannah. She was born on August 4, 1942, in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Cornelius and Marie Zeim Kikkert. She graduated from Belleville High School, Belleville, NJ in 1961, and received her A.A. degree from Oakland Community College (now University, and her B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, 1992.

At a young age, Susan worked for the F.B.I. in Newark, N.J., and later was a Librarian for over 20 years at Jackson Philomenian Library in Jamestown, RI, but her favorite job of all was being a homemaker, taking care of her husband, and two sons. She was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter C in Rhode Island, and a member of the Garden Club. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and fly fishing with her husband in the Lakes of New Hampshire.  Susan was a longtime resident of Jamestown, RI, subsequently moving to Savannah, GA.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Paganelli.

Surviving are her husband of almost 62 years, Robert W. Harvey, Jr. of Savannah, two sons, Robert W. Harvey, III. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Steven J. Harvey (Nobue) of Cumming, Georgia, one granddaughter, Emily Katherine Harvey of Cumming, GA, and five nieces and nephews.  

The Funeral Service to honor her life will held at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel (date and time to be announced)  

Burial will be in Beaufort National Cemetery.
