Ann Jackson Grant
December 11, 1944 - February 17, 2026
Ann Jackson Grant, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Summer Breeze Senior Living surrounded by her family, under the care of Hospice.
She was born in Greenville, South Carolina, December 11, 1940, to Maurice W. and Anita Griffin Jackson and was a graduate of Paris High School. Mrs. Grant married Joe Grant in 1960 and was a devoted homemaker for her three children. She was a long-time member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She loved to travel, care for her animals, and spend time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, William Joe Grant, and her sister, Mary Frances Ballenger. Surviving are her son, Barry Grant (Riley); daughter, Christy Dawson (David); son, Bradford Grant (Mary); grandchildren, Blake Dawson (Gabby), Tyler Dawson (Abby), Mary Everett Grant, and Brady Grant; great-grandchildren Sunshine Dawson and Grayson Jarrard.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
The family would like to thank the staff of Summer Breeze Senior Living and Amedisys Home Health for their loving care.
