My heart breaks knowing that you are gone. I never got the opportunity to say thank you to you, your mom or sister for being so kind to me during thgough a really rough time in my life as a young girl. Your family picked me up off Bee Rd from ST Mary' Children's home almost every day to take me to Blessed Sacrement to keep me from walking in the nasty weather. I always thought of you as my Angels. You and Kelly were always kind to me and didn't make me feel bad about the situation I was in. Your family has been on my mind and I've always wanted to tell each of you thank you for your kindness and compassion. Your mom would sometimes give us money to get a donut at school. I felt like I won the jackpot:-). I was Blessed with kind people who showed me how important the little things are. You touched my heart with grace & kindness. I have done everything I can to share this with others in need like me. Although, I'm sorry we lost touch before i could say thank you. I will never forget you. My beautiful sister in blue, I pray you are resting sweet friend. Rest in piece beautiful. And thank you again.

I just found out about Shannon's passing. I want to send sincere condolences to her family, her children, and her close tribe of friends, especially Loukia who she always talked about with much love. I was one of her college roommates and we have kept in touch via texting or when I was in Savannah for work. I last saw Shannon a year ago when she met me for a couple hours during a work trip. We laughed and talked like we had not missed a day. I will cherish that laughter we shared. She was and will always be remembered as a beautiful person, loving and kind. I texted her about a week ago and told her I was planning a trip to Savannah and was hoping to see her. She gave me a heart. Rest in peace Sweet friend. I love you, Tonia

I am so sad to hear of Shannon's passing. She was such an incredible woman, mother, friend and neighbor. We were next door neighbors in Ardsley Park for years. I will be forever grateful for all of our backyard talks over the fence and front stoop chitchats . She was always giving me much needed advice . Shannon was a smart, witty, caring and loyal woman . My heart goes out to her children, her sister and parents, and of course Loukia. I know she loved all of you so much.
