Celebrating the life of
Warren "Pat" Cetti, Jr.
February 12, 1942 - February 12, 2026
Warren Patrick Cetti Jr., 84, died peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
Pat was born in Savannah, to Warren Patrick Sr. and Mamie Lou (Brinson) Cetti. Predeceased by his beautiful bride, Madeline Von Waldner Cetti and his younger sister, Carole Cetti Koback, who lived in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
He was a loving husband, father, and Poppa, who was very humble, not believing he was worthy of the blessings in his life. He met the love of his life at a drive-in where he insulted her and then persistently pursued her until she submitted and went out with him. She enjoyed telling and re-telling that story all their married life together. They were married on July 6, 1963, remaining together for 60 years of marriage here on earth. After two and a half years of longing to be with her again, they were reunited on his birthday. What a gift! He is survived by three sons- John Cetti of Pembroke, Tom Cetti (Joey) of Savannah, and Brian Cetti (Daria) of Savannah. Eight grandchildren- Joel, Daniel, Megan, Reed (Jessica), Garrett (Georgia), Josephine, Henry and Graham. Two great grandchildren- Marceline and Spencer. His grandchildren brought him great joy and great grandchildren brought light to the dim times since losing the love of his life. Despite his opinions, which were many, he was a great husband and just the father needed to raise three boys who needed to become men and fathers. What a great role model he was.
After two years attending Benedictine, he graduated from Savannah High, but he sent his boys to Benedictine and he was always a Cadet at heart. He attended BC football games faithfully until he physically couldn’t anymore.
Pat worked for Union Camp / International Paper for the better part of 40 years, as a Power Plant Operator and Shift Supervisor. He was a longtime communicant of Blessed Sacrament (Savannah), St. Stephen’s (Hinesville) and most recently St. James (Savannah). While at St. Stephen in Hinesville, he served as a Eucharistic Minister.
He will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff of Savannah Squares, Senior Helpers, Tracy’s Loveable Care, and Hospice Savannah.
A very heartfelt thank you to Jose Torres and Byron Wiggins who went above and beyond. It is their help that allowed Pat to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 16, at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, Montgomery Crossroads. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM
Interment immediately following service at Bonaventure Cemetery, Greenwich Section.
Remembrances can be made to Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406 or St. Stephen Catholic Church, 399 Woodland Dr, Hinesville, GA 31313.

Pat, I have known you as long as Madeline, she was my best friend, I was there when you married, a brides maid in your wedding, a friend of your sister and cousins. You will be missed, and I enjoyed the years with you and Madeline and hope you will let her know how much I miss her and you. My love and prayers to all of the wonderful family you leave behind as your legacy.
