I had the pleasure working with Fred since 2011. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to be around. He trained so many new techs and was a big help to me with the electrical side of the aircraft early on in my inspection career. Fred will truly be missed. He put a brave fight. Rest in peace brother.

My wife, Tonya, and I are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Fred. We met Fred and Sunni almost exactly one year ago at a marriage conference at our church. After a couple of conversations through the course of the conference we became fast friends. Our friendship has continued to grow through this last year. We had the privilege of hosting a heart-aversary for Fred's one year anniversary of his heart transplant. It was fun to see him surrounded by new and old friends. We count it a privilege and a blessing to have known Fred. Sunni, we love and pray for you daily. We do, and will, miss him but we look forward to being reunited with him one day in eternity. We will see you soon our brother

- Jim and Tonya Bates, Springfield, GA

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all of Fred's family and friends. Since we have known and been close to all of the Sikes' for many years, we feel as if we have lost a member of our own family. We loved you all then and we love you now. Our prayers for the family are going up for God to wraps his arms around each of you and console you in this time of grief. Freddie, may our Saviour hold you in the arms of love and give you peace. Sleep son, sleep.

- Randy and Rhonda McLaughlin, Pittsburgh, PA

Fred was one of the first people I met after I left the Marine Corps. He gave me a chance and hired me. He taught me so much and I learned so much from him. Fred was kind caring and was one of the most giving people I've ever met. Every time I seen him be it at work or if i randomly ran into him we always had a good conversations. Anyone whoever got to meet Fred are the lucky ones. I know you will be watching the Dawgs up there my friend. Sunni I'm so sorry. I wish nothing but the best for you.

- Michael Marino, Savannah, GA

Sunni, we were so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Fred was a true gentleman, and a friend to all. We got to know Fred at the Mayo clinic, where both he and I received heart transplants. I loved Fred from day one. I'm going to miss his smile and laughter. Go rest high up on that mountain my brother.

- Tony and Kim Alcorn, Pensacola, FL

I worked with Fred and Sunni at Gulfstream from 2007-2016. Both were a pleasure to work with so my heart goes out to Sunni and her family. Sending prayers of comfort and strength during their time of loss. The Word of God says, "to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord." Take heart. Keep your eyes on the prize. Fred has finished his race and we are all trying to get to where he is, to our Lord and Savior.

- Vicki Clark, Lynchburg , Virginia
