Celebrating the life of
Thomas Francis (Tom) Flamer
August 30, 1941 - September 18, 2025

Thomas Francis (Tom) Flamer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
Born on August 30, 1941, in Waterbury, CT, to the late Albert and Mary Downey Flamer, Tom was a devoted Catholic and a founding member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, where he dedicated over 50 years as an usher. His commitment to service extended beyond the church; Tom found joy in nature, gardening, and maintaining his lawn. Above all, his family was his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Tom was predeceased by his loving wife, Nancy Sue Flamer.
He leaves behind his son, Jeff Flamer; two stepsons, Robert and Edward Jordan; his sister, Mary Beth Caldwell; his brother, Joseph Flamer; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.
A memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Gabe Cummings officiating. We will honor Tom's commitment to family and service as he is laid to rest next to Nancy at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Beaufort National Cemetery.
