Allen David Whiteford
Passed away on September 16, 2025

Allen David Whiteford, 55, died peacefully on Tuesday Sept 16th, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous and faithful walk with the Lord through ALS.
He was born in Sumter, SC to Master Sergeant Douglas Whiteford and Linda (Baker) Whiteford. He lived in several places before his parents came back home from military service to Savannah in 1982. He graduated from Memorial Day School in 1988.
In 1998, working for The Home Depot in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Allen met the love of his life, the former Jennifer Leigh West of Cary, NC. They have two wonderful daughters. Allen was an effective and beloved retail manager, working at Home Depot for 15 years, then at Bed Bath and Beyond for 15 years, and finally at Chick-fil-A Victory for 3 years. He was an active member of Southside Baptist Church in Savannah. He leaves a legacy of faith in Jesus, and in all of his relationships with coworkers and friends (most times one-in-the-same), his joy was to point people to the Cross.
In addition to his wife Jennifer; Allen is survived by daughter, Anna Brooke Hardy and spouse Perry Hardy of Rincon, GA; daughter Lauren Noelle Whiteford of Savannah, GA; his mother, Linda Whiteford of Savannah, GA; his sister, Judy Blackston of Savannah, GA; his in-laws, Buddy and Charlotte West of Cary, NC; brother-in-law Jeff West and spouse Amanda Edgerton of Woodstock, GA; his aunts and uncle, many sweet cousins, five wonderful nieces and nephews, and one favorite great-niece.
Allen was preceded in death by; his beloved father Douglas Eugene Whiteford of Savannah, GA; grandparents Joe and Daisy Baker of Savannah, GA; grandmother and step-grandfather Nellie and Stafford LeMoine of Marksville, LA, and grandfather Julian Whiteford of Savannah, GA.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2025, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
The burial will be private.
Remembrances may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
