Celebrating the life of
Dorothy B. Lee
August 13, 1945 - September 09, 2025
Dorothy B. Lee, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in 1945 in Wyandotte, Michigan, she lived in Laurens and Greenville, South Carolina. She became a true Georgian when the family moved to Brunswick and spent the majority of her life in Savannah.
A woman of immense warmth and grace, Dot Lee was known for her kind grace, unwavering kindness, and dedication to her church community. She loved spending time with friends, family, and most affectionately with her husband, Darrel Lee. Her life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and quiet strength.
Dot Lee is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Winston Darrel Lee, and their two children, Amy Annette Lee Taylor and spouse Zack Taylor, and Brent Jennings Lee and spouse Julie Lewis Lee. She was also the proud and doting grandmother to four grandchildren, Asa McCoy Lee, Emmett Addison Lee, Anna Lee Taylor, and Lera Frances Lee. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Funeral service will be held at Grace of the Islands Presbyterian Church on September 13 at 11:00 am. In place of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace Church of the Islands, PCA.

A focused, dedicated, and caring Christian is no longer amongst us. I often heard of Dot long before I met her. A former neighbor of my late sister-in-law, Patsy Robinson (Becky's sister), I heard of Dot's (and Darrel's) kindness and friendship toward the Robinson family. Dot's friendship to Patsy helped hear deal with a terminal illness. She was steadfast in her caring friendship toward Patsy, a trait Dot consistently displayed to many. Dot lived a life of caring and dedication to principles that can be a guide for all. We miss her not being amongst us, but comfort comes from knowing she is with our Holy Father. Darrell & family, we are praying for you. Gene & Becky Waters
