Richard "Rick" Buckley

Richard Martin “Rick” Buckley, 69, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his home with his family by his side.  He was born February 7, 1956, in New York to the late Raymond and Mary Dixon Buckley.  Rick retired as a Supervisor from Kemira, and later owned Rick’s Lawncare Service.  He was of the Catholic faith. He loved attending car shows, fishing, coaching baseball, and was a member of the Classic Cars Outlaw Group.

Rick is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis West Buckley, sons, Stephen Buckley and Ryan Buckley, daughter, Meghan Buckley, and four grandchildren, Madison Hilliard, Makenzie Hilliard, Bennett Sikes, and Anniston Buckley.  Also surviving are his siblings, Laurie Schmidt (Hal), Joseph Buckley (Lori), Michelle Buckley, Debi Christiansen (Thomas), Marianne Martin (Paul), and Jackie Howard (Rocky), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2025, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
