She was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Vincent and Mary Amoroso. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, she graduated from William Cullen High School in 1976. That same year she met Gerardo (Rusty) Ramirez while working at Alexanders Department store. They began dating and were married on May 30, 1981. Shortly after they moved to California where their daughter Rachel was born in 1983. They moved back to New York in 1985 where their son Alex was born in 1989. The family moved yet again, this time to Melbourne, Florida for about a year and a half. Finally settling in Savannah, Georgia in 1992. Vicky had various jobs in assisted living facilities until she landed at Buckingham South, a premiere assisted living facility, where she obtained her CNA license. She enjoyed various activities such as latch hook and diamond art. Mostly she wanted to spend time with family, and they would participate in things like Pro Soccer games and the kids sports team games. Family trips to Great Wolf Lodge or just going out to dinner were highlights for her. Vicky retired in 2016 when her grandson Remy was born. Getting to be a grandmother was what she loved the best.

Vicky is survived by, husband of 44 years Rusty, daughter, Rachel Ramirez, son, Alexander Ramirez, and grandson, Remy Ramirez.  Siblings, Diane Colon, Maryanne Amorose, Charles (Janice) Amoroso all of New York. Nieces and Nephews, Boo (Bobbie), Lauren (Patrick), Sara (Matthew), Diana (Nelson), Alyssa, Matthew (Dominique) Thomas, Emily (Patrick Charlie (Tyla), Mark, Elizabeth, Kristen, James, and Paul.  Eleven great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, Vincent and Mary, and her youngest brother, James Amoroso.

A celebration of her life will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
