George Michael Haring
March 14, 1955 - August 31, 2025

George Michael “Mike” Haring, 70, USAF, Retired., of Savannah, passed away surrounded by his loving family Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born March 14, 1955, in Columbus/Fort Benning, Georgia, to late Walter Haring and Clorina Ottavino Haring. Upon his retirement Mike loved spending time with his family and enjoyed going to car shows with his 1955 Chevrolet Belair. Mike was a member of the First Hispanic Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving of 22 years, Isabel Haring of Savannah; children, Andy Lemus (Amber) of Richmond Hill, Antonio Lemus of Savannah, and Melissa Lawrence (Jake) of Richmond Hill; grandchildren, Keegan Cooper, Dylan Cooper, Logan Lemus, Khloe Lawrence and Dallas Lawrence; and a brother, Walter Haring (Celia).
A visitation will begin at 3:00, followed by a 4:00, Celebration of Life at the First Hispanic Baptist Church on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The family respectfully request that everyone attending his Celebration of Life service wear something red in honor of Mike's memory.
