Scott and I were blessed to have Mrs. Glisson as our neighbor for 45 wonderful years. She was a woman of great faith and strength. She had such a kind heart and loving ways, and always looked for the "good" in each person she met. She was the perfect example of how a Christian should live. In our last conversation, she told us not to be sad when she was gone, but to remember the good times we shared. Oh, how she will be missed! Scott and Brenda Brown
- Scott and Brenda Brown, Savannah, GA

Laverne was a very special woman. She taught me so very much in the sixty plus years she has been in our lives. She was always there for us. We were so fortunate to be considered family. She will be so missed but she is now tending the most beautiful Garden of all. Rest Well. We love you.
