Celebrating the life of

Theodore "Ted" James Bruce

February 14, 1957 - August 12, 2025

Theodore

Theodore "Ted" James Bruce, 68, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025.

Ted was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He is survived by his devoted wife, Zeny Bruce; his son, Josh Bruce; his daughter-in-law, Cameron Bruce; and his cherished grandchildren, Addison and Connor Bruce.

Ted began his career as a dedicated Respiratory Therapist, serving patients with care and compassion for over 20 years, most recently at Memorial Health. After retiring from the medical field, he followed his entrepreneurial spirit, creating an internet-based greeting card business aimed at helping people stay connected through thoughtful messages and heartfelt moments.

Before his civilian career, Ted served honorably as a Navy Hospital Corpsman, a role that reflected his lifelong commitment to helping others. He was also a proud 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, living out the values of charity, unity, and fraternity in both word and deed.

Ted had an extraordinary gift for connecting with people—he could befriend anyone, anywhere. His genuine kindness, quick smile, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A rosary service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel followed by a visitation until 4:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
