Passed away on August 08, 2025

Mee Ding Hom, 96, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at Candler Hospital.
He was born in Taishan, China. He owned the Golden Star Grocery Store, as well at the Hong Kong Restaurant in Savannah for many years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Meici Huang of Savannah, his daughter, Hao Xin Liang of China, granddaughter, Xi Lin Liu of China, his brother, Mee Gong Hom (Woon Ping Hom), and two nieces, Susannah, and Sylvia.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Cemetery, 1600 Wheaton Street, Savannah, GA.
