Celebrating the life of
Maria Gloria Polito
May 19, 1928 - June 27, 2025

Maria (Mary) was the cherished wife of Marco Polito (deceased) and dedicated and loving mother to her dear daughters Deborah and Denise.
She grew up in Boston and later the family moved to New Jersey before retiring to Savannah.
Maria was loved dearly by her family and friends who all enjoyed her sassy nature. She was fashionable and always wore her signature red lipstick and nail polish. She loved playing Chinese Checkers and Bingo with the kind residents of Thrive Assisted Living.
Heartfelt thanks to the many aides at Thrive and Hospice of Savannah.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 1 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave, Savannah. Burial will immediately follow at the Catholic Cemetery, 1661 E. President Street, Savannah.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Hospice of Savannah,
1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
