Celebrating the life of

Viktor Y. Isayev

January 05, 1938 - June 25, 2025

Viktor Y. Isayev

Viktor Y. Isayev, 87, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Viktor was born in Smolensk region, Russia, youngest of the three children of Pelageya and Yakov Isayev. He received his education to become an electrician from a trade school in Russia. He was a sergeant serving in Russian army. He was a man of his word and many jokes. A beautiful kind soul that would be there for you no matter what. As well as a man who could fix anything you asked him to. He taught us many things, but the most important lessons were fishing with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In 1961, Viktor married Mayya Litvina. They have two children Lana and Gene. Mayya and Viktor moved to Savannah Ga in October, 1993, from Grodno, Belarus.

A private service will be held for immediate family at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel at 10:00a.m. on Saturday June 28th. Burial will follow at 1:00p.m., at the Greenwich Cemetery for all family and friends.
After funeral, reception to follow at the Midtown Deli and Bagel Shop, where he spent many days drinking his morning coffee.
