Celebrating the life of
Jaime Lynn Spear
Passed away on June 07, 2025

Jaime Lynn Spear tragically passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Born on September 16, 1980, to Larry and Lynn Spear, Jaime was a loving sister to Rebecca Spear of Savannah. In 2016, she met the love of her life, Lori Domelowicz, and they became devoted wives in 2021.
Jaime graduated from Calvary Day School and went on to earn her Bachelors degree from Savannah State University and her MBA from Georgia Southern University. She worked for the City of Tybee as the Human Resource Director for the past six years and had previously served as a Glitter Disbursement Engineer for Chatham County for most of her career. Jaime was loved and respected by the community she worked in, and she also enjoyed spending her free time there. Active in the island's social scene, Jaime sang, danced, loved, laughed, and sparkled her way into everyone’s hearts. She never missed an opportunity to meet someone new or reconnect with an old friend. Jaime was an all-girl and could often be seen wearing something pink, accompanied by her signature glitter. While some may refer to Jaime as a social butterfly, those who knew her best would describe her as a social magnet. People were naturally drawn to her boisterous personality and fun-loving attitude. Jaime was a passionate fan of Alabama football and celebrated everything related to the Crimson Tide. Though Jaime has left us to prepare for the next Bama game in Heaven, she has left behind a piece of herself—and a bit of glitter—for all of us to remember her by. We will deeply miss Jaime and will think of her fondly every time we hear ROLL TIDE!
Surviving Jaime are her devoted wife and soulmate, Lori Ann Domelowicz; her parents, Larry and Lynn Spear; her sister, Rebecca Leigh Spear; her uncles, James Hadden III (Tina) and Mark Hadden; her aunts, Cheryl Kessler (Sonny), Nan Motes, and Leigh Gilmer (Chuck); and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James “Turp” Lamar Spear and Geraldine Gibson Spear; her maternal grandparents, James Leonard Hadden and Clara Dell Fischer Hadden; her uncle, Stephen H. Hadden; her beloved cousin, Dalton Marshall Hadden; and her dogs Bama, Bear, Bruin, and Saban.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, June 16 and June 17, 2025 Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21 at Cheers to You from 12:00 PM–until.
This will be a relaxed, drop-in style event — a time to come together, raise a glass, share memories, and celebrate Jaime Lynn’s life in the way she would’ve wanted. Whether you stay for a few minutes or into the night, your presence will mean the world.
In true Jaime fashion, we’re asking everyone to wear something fun — pink, glitter, Alabama gear, or anything that reflects her bold, joyful spirit. Come as you are, and come ready to celebrate.
If you have a favorite photo of Jaime, we’d love for you to bring it with you to help fill the space with all the beautiful memories she created over the years.
Jaime’s wife, Lori, along with her family and close friends, will be there throughout the day. Cheers to You holds so many great memories, laughter, and love — a perfect place to honor Jaime Lynn and all she meant to those around her.
in lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to One Love Animal Rescue or Chatham County MSPCA as we have two rescue pups she loved, Bogey and Peppa.

A brilliant shining personality that will truly be missed. When I think of Jamie I think of shimmering bright colors. She was a person where bright color and sparkles were her neutrals and I loved that. I am blessed to be able to call her my sister. Joe, Jay, Drew and I will never forget you or that smile.
