Passed away on May 19, 2025
Dr. Thomas J. Yeh, 96, longtime Savannah Heart Surgeon passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at his residence.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
A private family graveside will be held at Westover Cemetery in Augusta, GA.

An absolute pioneer in heart surgery in Savannah. My mother, Jeanne Palefsky was a medical librarian at Memoriam as well as a professional photographer and photographed many of Dr. Yeh's heart surgeries for him. She spoke so highly of him and his dedication to patients. What an outstanding human being and surgeon and will be sadly missed and always well thought of.

Our Hometown Hero has been lost. Dr. Yeh is EPIC!!!Not only was Dr. Yeh compassionate, humble, and meek but a true legend in the medical field. His water color talents will be also missed. What an incredibly beautiful life to celebrate!! Our deepest condolences to his phenomenal family!! He saved and touched so many, many lives..... Dr. Yeh, we miss your heartwarming smile already!!
