Anne L. Keele

Anne Keele, of Savannah, passed away peacefully at her home on May 11th at the age of 97.
Anne was born June 28, 1927, in New York, NY. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Elsie Keele, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her sister Elsie Westerfield and brother-in-law, Peter Westerfield, her brother, Edward O. Keele, and sister-in-law, Mary Keele.
Anne was employed by Union Camp for 40 years until her retirement.
Anne enjoyed traveling, reading, photography, skiing with her sister, and spending time visiting her brothers, sister, and their families. She was a devoted sports fan and especially loved cheering for the Atlanta Braves and Kansas City Chiefs.
Anne was a loving aunt to her seven nieces and nephews and eleven grand nieces and nephews. She was blessed to have many friends whom she cherished.
She leaves behind her brother, Vincent Keele and sister-in-law, Peggy Keele.
Also surviving are her four nieces: Elizabeth McKay, Caroline Westerfield, Kathleen Kerr, and Anne Shimmon, as well as her three nephews: Thomas Keele, Daniel Keele, and Vincent Keele, Jr., as well as eleven grand nieces and nephews.
Anne’s family would like to give special thanks to her friend Larry Ricks for his loyalty and support, Donna Stepson for her friendship as well as the staff at Pruitt Hospice and Home Instead for their compassionate care.
