Neville "Bunty" D'Monte
Passed away on April 21, 2025

Neville “Bunty” Joseph D’Monte, 85 left this world peacefully on April 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Savannah, GA.
Born on October 26, 1939, in Mumbai, India, the son of Frank and Ivy he had a deep love for his family, friends and a dedicated career in the airline industry for 25 years. During this time, he had the privilege of assisting Mother Theresa who he came to love dearly and built a lifetime friendship that helped her towards her mission of saving the orphans from Calcutta.
A loving husband to Cynthia, Neville was a pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they raised two children: Jeremy and Amanda. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love and support. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to everyone around him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Cynthia; children Jeremy and Amanda (Sean’s son in-law); grandchildren: Sam, Isabella, Olivia and Molly. He is also survived by his siblings, Coral in Portugal, Karen and Christopher in Australia will miss him dearly.
A Visitation/Prayer service will be held on Friday, April 25th from 4pm – 6pm; Rosary at 5:30pm at Fox and Weeks funeral home located at 7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26th at 10am at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave, Savannah, GA 31406.
Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion.
We will cherish the memories we shared with Neville “Bunty”, and his spirit will live in our hearts forever.
