Celebrating the life of
Patricia Brannen
August 14, 2025 - March 31, 2025
Patricia Gail Brannen, 79, a native Savannahian, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025. Born August 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Ferman Brannen and Lorene Driggers Brannen. A graduate of Savannah High school, she attended Ringling College of Art and Design. Gail retired after many years as the graphics director at Armstrong State College. Gail was an avid gardener and enjoyed all forms of art, especially painting and photography. A true animal lover, her home was a sanctuary for cats. Gail dedicated her life to rescuing and rehoming many cats and kittens over the years. She leaves behind a true legacy of love for her furry companions.
Gail was preceded in death by her brother Dale Brannen.
She is survived by her brother, Don Brannen; nieces, Stephanie Brannen, Sarahdina Wilkes, Stephanie Vitkus and Cozette Holland, and many great nieces and nephews. Also a very special loving great niece, Jenna Jividen.
There will be a private celebration of life with family at a later date.
