Kathy Bizzell Penton

Kathy Bizzell Penton, age 68, of Savannah, GA, passed away on March 29, 2025. Born on June 14, 1956, Kathy was a devoted wife, sister, and friend. She worked for BellSouth for 25 years, where she became a respected manager, known for her work ethic and kind leadership.

Kathy was loved for her beautiful smile, her generous spirit, and her unwavering desire to help others. Her compassion extended to many, and she made a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Penton; sisters Jacquelyn Ann Nessmith and Suzanne Marie Purvis; brothers-in-law Joseph Penton and Gary Nessmith; dear friends Russell Perry and Norma Perry; and numerous other friends who will cherish her memory. Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Bizzell; her parents, Albert Bizzell and Jean Bizzell; and her son, Jeffrey Earl Penton.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lonnie, I never had the pleasure to meet you. I was good friends with Jackie and I member Kathy's beautiful face and sunshine personality.
