Louise E. Basso
December 14, 1942 - February 27, 2025
Louise E. Basso, 82, passed away on February 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Chicago, she met and married the love of her life, F. John Basso, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years enjoying traveling, sailing, and golfing. Together, they lived in Chicago, New Jersey, Southern California, and retired in Savannah, Georgia.
Louise is survived by her husband, John; children, John W. Basso (Janel) and Lynn A. Basso; grandchildren, Christian, Alexis, Ian, and Angelina.
She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and love of life.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory
