Celebrating the life of
Milton Vazquez-Torres
Passed away on March 01, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Milton Vazquez-Torres, who left us on March 1, 2025.
Althought our hearts ache with sorrow, we find comfort in the cherised memories he leaves behind.
Milton never met a stranger, just a friend he hadn't yet spoken to.
He leaves behind a family who adored him, and countless friends who were touched by his generosity, kind spirit, and unforgettable smile. Although he may no longer walk beside us, his legacy of love and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.
A service to celebrate Milton's life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel, located at 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering such an incredible person.
Milton will always be missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Was very saddened to hear of Milton’s passing. He was a friend to many people, both in his personal life and at work. When I came to Gulfstream in 2016, he immediately went out of his way to make me feel welcome and I’ve never forgotten that. This is a tremendous loss in the aviation community and more so to his family and friends who knew him best. Milton, we will pour a Hendricks and ginger ale for you in Mexico and the it gives us all comfort knowing you’re no longer struggling. Rest in peace my friend.
- Matthew Murphy, Miami, FL

Extremely saddening news about the passing of an outstanding young professional, coworker, friend and good human being. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go to Milton’s family members to have the strength during these difficult moments. God bless you. Milton was always a great coworker when I worked at Gulfstream. He never said no to anything you requested to help you with. Great attitude to life and always a funny guy! I always enjoyed working with Milton. It was an honor to work with him and spent time. He was a true friend. Rest in peace, Milton. I will always remember you as a friend with one of the best attitudes to do things right way with a smile on your face.

I am so grateful for the time I shared with Milton. He and I were both in Sales Engineering together and not only was he was very focused and smart, but he also was a great friend who was generous with his time. I will cherish the trips we went on together and those moments of laughter – his sly smile usually meant he was up to something clever. Milton will be dearly missed and my heart goes out John and the rest of his family. Rest in peace, my friend.

Sadness has overtaken our family with his passing. Not only was he our nephew, but a true friend as well. We could go months or years without seeing one another, but the moment we were back in each other's company, we'd be right back where we left off. I loved that he loved my deviled eggs and made such a big deal over them.. lol He and Jon, sent me the most beautiful, glass serving dish specifically for deviled eggs one day a few years back just out of the blue one day for no reason. That was just too cool and thoughtful... Man, did that ever make me feel loved! That's just what he did. I wouldn't hear from him for a few months, then he'd send me a cutesy, little, funny deviled egg meme. I guess that was just to let me know he was thinking of me. I'm sure going to miss him!! That's for sure! I love you, Milton and am so heartbroken that you were taken so soon. May you rest in peace.

I worked with Milton several years ago and I can honestly say he was one of the nicest and more uplifting of people I've worked with. He kept a good attitude and sense of humor. I wish his family well and to embrace his impact he contributed on so many people around the world

I first met Milton during my second deployment and he quickly became my friend. It is true that his kind heart never saw no evil in anyone but a friend who may need his wisdom. Even in the hardest times during that deployment he always found a way to help us out and even give us rides in when he saw me or the anybody he knew waiting at the bus stop. I know we lost contact a while ago but a real friend never just catch up again like time was not an issue, until Valhalla brother rest in peace and watch over us. I know God just got a badass warrior. And to John and the family i know i never met you guys but i just hope that God fill you guys with his peace in this arduous time and rest asure that Milton is now in a beautiful place.

Milton’s strength and kindness will never be forgotten. I feel so grateful to have known him and to be part of such an amazing family that loved him so much. He was more than a nephew—he was like a son to my husband Ricardo “Tio Richie” and the bond they shared was truly special. His smile could light up any room, and his warmth and love will always be with us. He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. Love you, Scooby. Rest in peace.
