Celebrating the life of
Patricia Webb
August 18, 1928 - January 10, 2025
Our sweet Mama, Patricia Webb, passed away January 10, 2025, at Hospice Savannah, she was 96 years old. Mama was born August 18, 1928, in Bellville, Georgia to Clyde and Eunice Mobley. When Mama was a teenager the family moved to Savannah. It was there that she met and fell in love with the love of her life, Samuel Webb. She and Daddy were married for 54 years until his death in 2000.
Mom was always a "stay at home Mom" raising her three girls. But in 1970 she was offered a temporary job at Savannah Christian Preparatory school that lasted 47 years. At SCS she did a little bit of everything, working in the admissions office, lunchroom, study hall, operated the Cove, drove a school bus and ending in the high school office. Mama loved her work at the school and all the teachers and students she encountered during that time. She always loved seeing her "students" and enjoyed the stories they had to tell about their time with her. She has been fortunate to remain in contact with many of them through the years. The bottom line she totally loved her Raider Family!
Mama, Daddy and her parents were part of the original congregation of Robert McIntire United Methodist Church before transferring their membership to Midway United Methodist Church in 1975. After 42 years of living on the Isle of Wight, she moved to Wilmington Island and again transferred her membership to Wilmington Island Methodist Church where she remained a member until her passing.
Mama is survived by the three daughters and sons-in-law who all loved and doted on her. Nancy and David Pack, Marian and Hank Groover and Theresa and Joey Jonas. Three granddaughters, Becky (Michael) Griffin, Beth (John Michael) Coursey and Teri (Denis) Robertson. Seven great- grands, Justus and Daniel Griffin, JayJay, Georgia Grace, Jack Henry Coursey, Meghan and Denis Robertson. She is also survived by many loving cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Mama is predeceased by our Daddy, Sam Webb, her parents, Clyde and Eunice Mobley and her brother, Jimmy Mobley.
In lieu of flowers we would like to request a donation be made to either Hospice Savannah or your favorite charity in Mom's memory.
A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14th, followed by a 1:00 Funeral Service at Fox & Weeks Islands Chapel. The burial will be private.

Ahh Mrs Webb What an awesome lady she kept me straight every stinking day . She was helpful and stern when she needed to be . Hilarious and helpful when she needed to as well . I remember one time I got in trouble and was sent to office Mrs Webb said Mr Warrell could not see me yet go back to class and they would call me back up there when he was free never called me back up so I avoided really getting in trouble because my mother was at the lower school . Again did I mention what a great lady she was my prayers are with the family love to all Tootle

Mama Pat and her family have always been special to me since we met at Robert McIntyre Methodist many years ago. I fondly remember going to her mother’s house, to her house, to the race track and anywhere Nancy and I could go together. She was my second mom especially when my mom had to go care for her father when her mom was ill. She will be greatly missed! I pray that the family will know peace in the midst of this storm! Talley

An angel has gained her wings! Ms Webb could brighten any day. She kept her "family" in line. For many years, she was the mother of all of SCPS. My condolences to her girls as she often referred to Nancy, Marian, and Theresa. May you be comforted by the Holy Spirit during this time of loss knowing that your mom positively influenced many. Hers was a long life well lived!
