So sorry to learn of Tony’s passing, he was a dear friend to my dad through their many years together as Engineers for Seaboard Coastline Railroad! I will always cherish the memories of his “gift of gab” and always seeing him on St Patrick’s Day morning cueing up to march with the Hibernians! He invited me to my first Hibernian Banquet! On behalf of the Creech family, our most sincere condolences on the passing of a wonderful man and shining example of a Catholic gentleman! Eternal rest grant unto Tony O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him!

Tony was my friend. From the first day, he sat down at the table with me in the church office and we realized we both were from Savannah. Tony was love. I called him the last Savannah Gentleman. A peaceful and giving person. Tony, Sandy and I became a trio. The Three Stooges we were. My love to all of you.

Tony was one of the finest men I ever knew. He took me under his wing when I went to work for the railroad and taught me everything he knew. He was a family man and he loved his wife and family very dearly. I wish I could be there for the funeral. The world was a better place with Tony.
