Dr. German will always be remembered warmly. He gave me an opportunity to work in the orthopedic office as a young athletic trainer in the summer of 1990. I fondly remember that time in my education and what I learned from this wonderful, humble man. God’s blessings on all those who love and admire Dr. German.

I’m so grateful to this kind, gentle and talented physician for providing my mother Sara with 4 successful joint replacements. She loved Dr. German and he provided her with quality of life to age 90. RIP Dr. German. Deepest sympathies to the family.

I’m so sorry to hear of Dr. German’s passing. Dr. German was a kind and compassionate doctor. We met him, when our daughter, was in kindergarten and hyperextended her hand and fractured some fingers. Needless to say, we had many more trips and surgery before his retirement. He was never in a hurry, always answered any question and explained things to my daughter so she understood. Thank you for sharing your husband and father with the community. He was definitely one of a kind.

How do you find the perfect words to thank a man for basically saving your life? Dr German funded my scholarship to attend GSU. Both of my parents had passed and I would have been homeless without his support. He believed in me and I just can’t thank him enough. God bless him and his family. We are all better off because he walked this Earth.

Im so grateful for the time spent with Tom. He was always glad to take me and my family in whenever we wanted to visit. He would share stories of his life with us on the back porch every time we came over and you couldn't help but to listen and learn. I have learned more lessons and gained more wisdom through his stories than I ever will anywhere else. He never had a boring story. When he would laugh it would brighten everyone's day just that little bit more. When he would say goodbye it would always be with a smile and a pat on the back. There was not a day in my life where I ever questioned his genuine love and care for everyone he met. He made a great friend over the years ive known him and an even better role model. Thank you for the memories Dr. German they are ones ill never forget.
