Richard Eugene Coppage

October 17, 1959 - September 18, 2024

Richard Eugene Coppage

Richard Coppage passed away at 64 at Hospice Savannah on September 18th. A Savannah native, he was the son of Frances Coppage and Robert (Bob) Coppage. Richard took over his dad’s business (Bob Coppage’s Used Cars) which he ran successfully for many years and was known lovingly as “Little Bob.”

He loved watching and excelled at playing sports. He had a great sense of humor and you’d often hear him quoting shows such as Seinfeld and The Office. He was a loving father that devoted his time to coaching little league baseball and volunteering with the cub scouts.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert Coppage of Richmond Hill and Ronald Coppage of Savannah, one sister Kathy Brown of Newnan, Georgia. Two children, Tyler Coppage of Savannah and Bailey Coppage of Asheville, NC

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Savannah

A Memorial Service will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sun, September 22, 2024 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah GA 31406.
