Sally Ann and I were best friends in elementary school. We had more fun spending the night at each of our houses. My favorite memory was riding the bus downtown and back in sack dresses made by Mrs. Marston. I will always remember her with fond memories. My thoughts are with her family.
- Suzanne Echols Parker, Piedmont, SC
“We had so much fun growing up together, next door neighbors. I remember going to Echols Drug store and getting chocolate, vanilla Coke's for a quick snack. Riding the City bus to go see movies downtown. Later going to the Oglethorpe mall to talk and laugh sitting in the car…. Both of us at the University of Georgia loved the excitement of the Bulldog games! I will miss her, I can feel it in my ♥️. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I’m so sorry to learn this news. Sally was the first friend I had when I moved to Savannah when the girls were very young & too many years ago to remember! My thoughts are with each of you praying that all your memories are filled with joy.

My heart goes out to all of her family. I am forever grateful for the time she spent with us when we were in youth group and the memories we had. In our most recent communications, she has been a source of light and love. She will be dearly missed.
- Susan Norris Carter, Travelers Rest, SC
Silly’s death was such a surprise. I saw her recently and went now memory lane. Our friendship started in elementary school on thru Jr High, High school and college. Sally was always happy, witty, funny, sweet and kind to all. She is a sweet, sweet spirit that has left. And left a void in everyone’s heart that knew Sally.

My heart hurts. Although we were friends for only the last 4.5 years, she was my dear friend. We took care of each other, we laughed, cried, celebrated our birthdays together, she included me in her family Christmas celebration and sometimes we did nothing together. I miss my friend. My joy is she is healed and home. My prayers are for her family and forever to God for gift of her friendship.❤️

I was so saddened to hear of Sally Ann’s passing. We were friends in high school. Although years have passed I have often thought of her with fond memories. Such a sweet, kind, beautiful person. My husband, Randy Booker, was close friends with Sally’s husband Charlie. He speaks of her often. Please accept my sincere condolences, during this very difficult time. Judith Braun Booker
