Mrs McCarthy was like a second Mother to me. She welcomed me into their home and treated me as one of her own. I spent many weekends in Brookview and the mansion on Bacon Park drive with my best bud Linda. From trips to NC, to the Groovers on Turners Creek, to Tybee, to the Bacon Park Pool. All great memories! She was a kind, sweet Lady and a heck of a lot fun! As I age I realize more and more how fortunate I was to be included in this wonderful family !
