She was a great and warm person. She initiated a family reunion that we thoroughly enjoyed and met cousins that we never knew. She will be missed.

I loved myself some Mrs Carolyn. We shared the love of movies and books. She was a very close friend of my mother and acted like a mom to me when my mom passed. Before my Mom passed she told me, take care of my ladies (which included Mrs Carolyn). Every time I got a chance to come home I had to go across the street to see my Lady. Of course I couldn’t interrupt her stories, but when I did get over there she was just as happy to see me as I was to see her. She was a shopper just like my mom and the stories she would tell me about their shopping sprees would have the two of laughing close to tears. My Lady, I will miss you and your beautiful spirit! May you rest in peace! Mr Mency thank you for loving and taking care of My Lady - you were definitely the wind beneath her wings! Well done, well done! Continued love and blessings to the family!

Ms Carolyn was one of the neighborhood moms and one of my mother's good friends. She kept us in line and showed us what it was like to properly carry ourselves as young women. I thank you for the wonderful friendship you had with my mother. Although I never worked hand in hand with you, when I was the Division ISO, I was honored to know that many of the Information Systems I worked on at WACH and several other military hospitals had your designs and SOPs. You paved a way for so many of us...thank you, ma'am...rest easy.

So blessed to have Carolyn as a friend these last 20ish years. I have so many belly laugh memories. She told the best stories. Her life was rich, I wish she were here for some laughs today… how two ladies with broken intestines ended up on the same circle… Carolyn’s heart was true, a true friend! I will miss her dearly and send my love and condolences to Mency & Cynthia. Thanks for sharing her! ♥️
