Marjorie Ann Eibling Bosen
June 24, 1935 - August 18, 2024
Marjorie Ann Eibling Bosen, age 89, passed away on August 18, 2024 in Savannah, Georgia.
Marjorie was born on June 24th, 1935 in Columbus Ohio to Herbert and Ruth Eibling. Marjorie attended school in Columbus and graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Home Economics. Marge was devoted to her family and raising four boys and worked in a variety of careers including school bus driver, and at the Department of Indian Affairs in Aberdeen, Md.
Some of her favorite moments were spending time with her family-especially Thanksgiving celebrations in Maryland, raising prize winning irises, being a Red Hatter in both Maryland and Florida and cheering for her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes football team! She married John "Jack" Bosen in Columbus, Ohio and they lived together in multiple states- including Ohio, California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, Maryland and Florida. Jack predeceased her in 2013 and Marjorie relocated to Georgia to be closer to family.
She is survived by her 4 sons- Kenneth (Patty) of Ballston Lake NY, Kevin (Cynthia) of Fredericksburg VA, Peter (Carmen ) of Savannah, GA and David of Aberdeen MD. Her grandchildren include Adam, Eric, Tanya, Jamie, Ethan, and Kate. Great-grandchildren include Mary, Jack, and Henry Bosen. She was also predeceased by her grandson Thor, her sister Dorothy and brother Jim.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Summer Breeze Senior Living facility for all of their loving care of Marjorie over the past few years. Marjorie will be buried next to her beloved Jack in the Florida National cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL. Services will be private.
