July 03, 1935 - June 20, 2024
Carolyn Haley Mueller, 88 years old, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2024. Carolyn was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 3, 1935. She attended Julienne Catholic High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from University of Dayton where she was a UD Flyerette and majored in Education. She married her college sweetheart upon graduation in 1957. She focused her education degree on her family, the beneficiaries of her love for knowledge. The family moved from Cincinnati to Dayton, Ohio in 1964, and to Pensacola FL in 1974. She spent years serving the community as a substitute teacher, school volunteer, school board liaison, and Elections Poll Worker. Her delights were needlework, playing bridge, spending quality time with friends, and traveling abroad. Her passion was her faith. She was an active communicant of St. Paul's Catholic Church, serving as a lecturer, Extraordinary Minister, and Hospital Chaplain at West Florida Hospital for over 30 years. She was involved with the charismatic movement, Cursillo, and innumerable prayer groups. Her heart was her family. Her husband was her rock, and her children and grandchildren were her joy. She moved to Savannah in 2019 due to declining health. She embraced the Savannah Square Community and continued collecting friends, Cards partners, and prayer warriors. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, James (Jim) Mueller, her parents Dr. William and Mary Geis Haley, and her brother Joseph.

Dear Molly and Tom, Thomas and Emily, Daniel and Mary Grace, Brendan, and the entire Mueller Family: Mrs. Mueller was a loving, thoughtful person who was always sent a sweet Christmas card or a note of congratulations. So glad we were able to spend time together at the wedding in April. May she rest in peace, and may you all know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Kathleen, Michael, and Matthew
