Mary Alice Frye Templeton

Mary Alice Frye Templeton, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Memorial Health.  She was born December 16, 1949, in Fort Benning, GA to the late Lonnie and Arbrea Skeens Frye.  She worked as a home care provider, and at Marshview Senior Living.  Mrs. Templeton was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, supporting them at their sporting events, school functions, and especially trips to Daytona Beach.  She had a love for the card game Rummy, and every family gathering ended in a family game.   

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert “Bob” Templeton of Savannah, daughter, Tammy Foster of Guyton, son, Tony Templeton (Dana) of Rincon, her sister, Yolanda Mallory (Michael, deceased) of Lake Mary, Florida, her brother, Michael Frye (Carol) of West Palm Beach, Florida, and best of all, her six grandchildren, Jonathan, Kaylee, Anthony, Addison, Lexie, and Jesse.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
