To Sonja's family: I had not seen Sonja since we sold our Tybee house several years ago but I have such lovely memories of her from Sunrise. She always had a smile on her face and a hug for me and was so kind to my family. They certainly don't make 'em like Sonja anymore. She was a special lady,

Sonja was always smiling and ready with a hug even when she was so tired. She was a hard worker and made it such a pleasure to visit her in the morning at Sunrise and later at Fannies! I am sure that Pat Whitney is talking her ear off in Heaven as Pat ate breakfast there every day! I am saddened that I won’t see you again on Tybee but happy that you will finally be able to rest.
