Aline (Sam) Jakubowski, born in St. Eugene, Ontario, Canada, on March 1, 1931, wife of the late Lucien (Jack) Jakubowski, passed away peacefully at her home on February 14, 2024.

After traveling the world, Sam and Jack fell in love with Savannah and were proud to call it home. Sam retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers. She was an interesting, quick-witted lady who loved her cat, Shadow. She will be dearly missed.

Cremation provided by Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel, Savannah, GA. There will be no service per Sam’s wishes.
