James Dunnington "Dunn" Griner

James Dunnington “Dunn” Griner, 65, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Savannah March 12, 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the U.S Coast Guard, retiring after 20 years of service. He also worked with Air Tran and Southwest Airlines. He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Griner and Delores Lambertson Griner. Dunn was a life-long devoted fan of the Sand Gnats and Savannah Bananas.
Surviving are several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
