Carol Ann (Mapleson) Hewitt, 62, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol Ann, known as Mapes to her friends was born in Tampa, Fl to Louis Mapleson and Pauline Keeton. She attended Christ the King elementary school before Plant High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Univerity of Florida.
She’s survived by her husband Jeffrey Hewitt, who she married in 1990, her two sons, Christopher Hewitt and Edward Hewitt, Olivia Hewitt her granddaughter & her sister Debora Burton.
A celebration of Carol’s life will take place in Tampa.The time and place are TBD.
I’m sorry for your loss. Your wife and mother was always been spoken about in a positive manner. May that positiveness continue forever for her and the entire family
