Celebrating the Life of Carolin Ann Mike
Carolin Ann Mike was born January 8, 1950 to the late Edward Mike and Martha Wyman Mike. She grew up in Savannah, Georgia with her siblings. She attended the public school system in Chatham County and was a graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School.
Carolin later decided to further her education by attending Savannah Technical School to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts. She often prepared meals for various gatherings and taught her siblings and other family members how to perfect the art of cooking.
She began her Christian journey at Happy Home Missionary Baptist Church where she eventually became a member. Carolin grew up in a family where Christian values were instilled and encouraged. This foundation gave her the ability to carry her love of God with her throughout her life.
Carolin spent the majority of her life as a caregiver, providing love and support to anyone in her family who needed it. She had the biggest heart and a sacrificial spirit. She was known for putting the needs of others before her own, even during her final moments. Our loved one answered the Lord’s call, on November 15, 2019, after a hard-fought illness surrounded by her loving family at her bedside.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Martha Mike. She leaves to cherish her memory Charlie Jenkins; two children, Carla (Terrence) Frazier and Marquis (Quinta) Mike; her siblings: Evelyn Grant, Emily Whyte, Larry (Earlene) Wyman, Edvina (Leon) Greene, Barbara Carter, Shirley (Lionel) Mike, Edward (Roberta) Mike, Pamela (Rodney) Davis, Wanda (the late Darren) Ackles, Craig (Valeria) Mike, Edvenia Pickney, Christopher (Anika) Mike, Andrell Mike Pugh, Durrell Murphy, Braylon Williams; her grandchildren, Amiyah Mike,Isabella Frazier, Madison Mike, and Morgan Mike; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

I love you and miss you already mamma. I will miss your world-famous German Cholate cake, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, Thanksgiving dressing, and liver, onions, and grits. I will miss your delicious food. I will miss eating chicken every Saturday except for your last meal. For your last meal, we ate a Subway sandwich. Thank you for mixing things up. Izzy and I will continue to watch "Meet the Browns" and "Good Times", your favorite shows. We love you and we know you loved us! Me and Marquis (your sickening child) will continue to do our best.
