Heaven truly gained an angel! Jake was the greatest friend anyone could ever have. I loved my jakiepoo. I'll remember all the Good times we shared. To his family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Family of Jake Bowen, I am so sorry for your lost, I will not be returning to Savannah until later Saturday after 5PM. I wish I could be there to pay my respects. Jake and I have known and worked together within the Red Cross from 1996 to present. We last talked together just a few weeks ago. He was a good friend and will be missed by us all.

Jeff Freeman, Savannah, GA

Jake was quite an unusual man. He never said a bad word about anybody. He always had a nice comment about you. I will certainly miss him.

, ,

My sincerest condolences go out to your family, it's never easy losing someone in death. May you take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4, which says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This verse brought me peace when I experienced loss, I hope it can do the same for you. May the memories you have give you strength during this difficult time.

Jake was the best. Worked with him for a few years he was always right on top of what needed to happen. Fellow Blue Jacket

Jake was more than just a kind man to Everyone. Jake was my friend, one who was always there when things didn't always go the best for me. He will be greatly missed. This world has lost one of a kind but another world has gained one of the best. Rest peacefully my friend, and save a spot for all of us because I know you've made it to the best of paradise.
