I am sorry to hear that Sally has passed. It was always a pleasure to talk with her at Port City. She had a sweet and caring way about her. My sympathy to the family at her loss. I will remember her.

Penny Rowland, Savannah, GA

Sally has been a fixture in the life of my family and mother for many years. She and her family have always been considered part of ours. I know that my mother will mourn the loss of her great friend but will take solace in the fact that she was blessed to have her in her life as long as she did. We were all blessed. Beth and Laurie, you and your family are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Carolyne Martin Morgan, Charlotte, NC

Beth and Laurie, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was always so kind and sweet to me. I pray that God will give you and your families love and strength in the days ahead. May your wonderful memories of your mom give you comfort. Sally will be missed by many who knew and loved her. With love, Allene

I was saddened this weekend when my daughter shared the news of Sally's passing. Sally and I became friends through work as she sold my employer lifting equipment. We would lunch together at least twice a month. I remember her love of Barbra Streisand's music. May she Rest In Peace!

Billy Adams, Savannah, Ga

Scott, Stephanie, Parker, & Will Merritt, Canton, GA

I would like to give my condolences to Sally’s family during this time. It is so loving on the part of God that he gives us beautiful promises for our future. One is found at Isaiah 33:24 where it says, “And no resident will say ‘I am sick.’” We can be confident that these words will be fulfilled because He is trustworthy and always keeps his word.

I know the loss of a mother is hard to bear. She will be missed. But she is no longer suffering. She is in a better place right now, and the ache you’re feeling will in time not be so intense. My prayers are with the family. Love, Ann

Laurie and Beth, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have so many fond memories of her growing up in Mayfair. She was always so welcoming and kind to all of us in the neighborhood. Endless basketball games in the driveway followed by raids of the fridge for ice cream. My prayers and thoughts for all of you during this difficult time. God Bless.
