I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a father and a husband to be proud of. I have to be out to town Saturday and will not be able to attend. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Ken

Ken Harrison, Savannah, Ga.

what a dear soul - Paul meant so much to this community and our industry. As leader of the Savannah Brokers Association I was privileged to travel with him to a few NCBFAA conferences. Once I remember Paul in the lobby going to play golf(on our day off of course) and we asked who he was going with he said some couple he had met in the taxi ride over. He was always open to new experiences - I am sure Paul will be leading others in heaven while we will miss him here. love to your entire family

Jan Fields, Savannah, GA

Wayne and I were saddened to learn of Paul's passing. We were so blessed to have known you all during our time at Southside. We will be praying for you and your family for God's comfort.

Wayne and Mary Loggins, Savannah, GA

It was with a heavy heart that I heard of Paul's passing this week. He was a good friend and a great neighbor for many years. We shared our life's stories from front yard to front yard...laughed at the antics of the chickens and cried when he first heard of my granddaughter Genevieve's situation. I missed you guys when you moved away and will continue to keep his smile and positive attitude with me, maybe more-so now that he is gone. I send you prayers of peace and healing and love from Carol and me.

Paul and Carol Mazo, Savannah, GA

I am so sorry and send prayers to your family. Words can not express the feelings of the loss of Paul. May God surround you and the family with love and peace. Love you all.

Brenda Cooper. & Patrick Cooper, Mirehead, Ky

Words can't express how we feel and, even though we haven't seen Paul in many years, we felt a closeness because of his father's sharing of family news. He was a beloved son, father, and husband and our hearts are broken for the family he loved and left behind, but now he's in heaven with his two children and he's at peace.

Ray, Doris, Karen, and McKenna Mobley, Murrieta, CA

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I know you will miss him greatly, but you have God and a loving family to comfort and support you. I'll be praying for you and the rest of your family. Sterling

My condolences to the Mobley family. At Isaiah 33:24 Jehovah promises to do away with sickness forever. We look forward to this beautiful hope that Jehovah God promises us in the near future, to be able to wake up in perfect health and not have to worry about our enemy death anymore. May Jehovah be with your family during this difficult time and may your family find comfort in knowing you are in my prayers. For more information and encouragement please visit jw.org or a local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

I am sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one to sleep in death is always hard and very painful. However, Jehovah offers encouragement through his word the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 has always been encouraging to me, because Jehovah promises he will do away with death and all things that cause us pain. That will be so satisfying! May positive memories fill your hearts and minds through this difficult time.

Paul Everett Mobley, 56, died May 17, 2017 at Hospice of Savannah surrounded by his beloved family. He was born January 1, 1961 in Savannah, GA and was a proud attendee of Hancock Academy and Georgia Southern University.

Paul had the privilege of working in a career he loved for forty years. He started out at sixteen as a runner for his father’s company, E.L. Mobley Inc., and ended his career as a Licensed Customs Broker employed by Nippon Express for the last 29 years. He was a dedicated, hardworking employee and a fiercely loyal friend.

Nippon Express was not the only place Paul loved working. He faithfully served the Music Ministry of Southside Baptist Church for 35 years in addition to directing the leaders and young men of the Royal Ambassadors at Southside. In 2013 Paul walked into Lifebridge Church and found his church home. Within the people of Lifebridge he found a passion, a unified purpose and an overflowing joy that he had not experienced in church before. Paul called leading two small Bible study groups at Lifebridge the greatest church experience of his life.

Paul leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Lori Rhines Mobley, and son, Jonathan Hastings Mobley. He was preceded in death by his son Robert Penn Mobley and his daughter Hannah Elizabeth Mobley. He is also survived by his mother Ginny Mobley, father Elton Mobley, and siblings Richard Mobley and Ruth Price. He is preceded in death by his father in law, Clyde Rhines, and survived by his mother in law, Penny Rhines. Being the favorite son in law he leaves behind a standard for his sisters and brothers in laws, Johnny and Robin Sheehan, Tim and Anna Adams to try to meet. Good luck with that, y’all! He left behind a generation of nieces and nephews that he loved as his own: Adam Mobley, Andrew Mobley, Brooke and Chris Hodges, Katie and Jacob Lane, Mary Elizabeth and Allen Chastain, Caroline and Joe McGrath, Phillip Price, David and Elizabeth Price, Molly Rose and Frank Tucker, Grace and Joe Shepard, John Michael, Matthew and Luke Price. He is also survived by the most precious great nieces and nephews Duncan, Hannah, and Addison Hodges, Gabriel Lane, Chloe, Aubrey and little Jeremiah McGrath, and baby Magnolia Tucker.

We will have a joyful celebration of his life at Lifebridge Church located at Savannah Arts Academy (500 Washington Ave) on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrance to Lifebridge Church Building Fund at 1020 Bryan Woods Loop Suite 8, Savannah, Ga 31410
