Dear Ted and family just wanted to send my condolences to your lovely mother Linda she was a wonderful woman and I enjoyed The 20 years that I did her hair will miss her with all my heart but I know she’s with your dad now Walking the streets of Gold Ave., God be with you while y’all are grieving with sincere love Barbara Pilcher

LINDA AND I WORKED TOGETHER AT SEVERAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN SAVANNAH. SHE WAS THE MUSIC TEACHER, AND I WAS THE ART TEACHER. WE WERE LIKE "MUTT AND JEFF", ALWAYS SITTING TOGETHER FOR THE ENDLESS MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS. SHE WAS QUITE A CHARACTER, AND I LOVED TEASING HER, AND CRACKING JOKES WITH HER. WE SHARED ALL SORTS OF TIDBITS ABOUT OUR FAMILIES AND WE KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN EACH OTHER'S OUTSIDE LIVES. ONE TIME I WAS GROCERY SHOPPING IN THE PIGGLY WIGGLY ON WILMINGTON, AND I HEARD ON THE NEXT AISLE OVER 2 VERY FAMILIAR VOICES LOUDLY "DISCOURSING" ABOUT WHICH FOOD THEY SHOULD PURCHASE. I KNEW INSTANTLY THAT IT WAS LINDA AND TED, AND I GREATLY ENJOYED HEARING THEIR DISCUSSION...IT WAS SO TYPICAL OF LINDA (AND TED)! THE WORLD HAS LOST A TRUE ENDEARING CHARACTER WITH HER PASSING, AND I SHALL MISS HER.
