How well I remember Mrs. Dixon from years of family dining at Taylor's Restaurant. Her presence was always a welcome sight and her wit and wisdom were unmatched. Mrs. Dixon and her family became a special part of many lives.Rest in peace lovely lady and many thanks for your grace and kindness.

Claudia Welch, Savannah, Ga

My condolences to the Dixon family for the loss of your loved one. Jehovah is a God of comfort and may he help you thru this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4.). Comforting scriptures: Revelations 21:3,4. John 5:28,29. Psalms 37:29, Isaiah 25:8

Holland, ,

I will always remember the wonderful times working with Mrs. Dixon. My mother (Cathy Lynn) was working at the Taylor's on Mall Boulevard and spoke to Mrs. Dixon about hiring me back in 1977. My first job waitressing. It was a great experience and I got to know most of the Von Waldners. I worked with the company off and on thru the years and even helped John Von Waldner out when they opened the restaurant at the foot of the Talmadge bridge in the mid to late 80's. Precious memories of a wonderful woman! Keeping the family in prayer. May God wrap His loving arms around each of you and give you strength during this difficult time.

Diane Lynn (Connor), Pembroke, Ga.

I had the pleasure of knowing this amazing woman who I worked for 25 year at Taylors Resturant. I will always remember the wonderful talks we had and she was the mother I never had. My heart and prayers goes out to all the Vonwalder children I knew and loved so much. She will always hold a special place in my heart and memories.

Catherine Lynn (better know as Cathy), Cobbtown, GA

Well what wonderful memories Terry and I will always have of Aunt Irma. One of my favorites is the day we were trying on her hats at Josie's! Hilarious! Even John got in on it! I do hope someone has those pictures handy! Great times wt lots of SMILES! GOD Bless Aunt Irma!

Margaret Scafidi, Savannah, Ga

My sincerest condolences go out to your family, it's never easy losing someone in death. May you take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4, which says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This verse brought me peace when I experienced loss, I hope it can do the same for you. May the memories you have give you strength during this difficult time.

Jae Mckenzie , Savannah , GA

You have our deepest sympathy. May the God of Love and Peace be with you and your family. May it console you to know that others care and think of you. We ask God to bless you with courage to bear the sorrow that fills your heart. John 5:28,29

TROTTY FAMILY, ,

We lost a special person yesterday. Mrs. D, my Aunt Irma, will be missed. She was the "grandmother" my boys never had... More importantly, she cared for my mother, her little sister, for so many years...day after day. I will always cherish the Christmas night gatherings with our family at home.

Stephen Von Waldner , Greenville , SC

We will always remember Aunt Irma's wonderful cheese spread at Christmas! She is in our prayers.
