Ralph S. "Stevie" Denmark
Passed away on November 24, 2020
Ralph S. “Stevie” Denmark, 72, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
The Statesboro native was the son of the late James and Frances Denmark. In 1968, Stevie joined the U.S. Navy and attended bootcamp in The Great Lakes. He served on a U.S. Naval ship sailing the coasts of Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. He retired from the Savannah Fire Department after more than 33 years of service.
Stevie was predeceased by his daughter, Kim Rhodes.
He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Denmark; two daughters, Jennifer Denmark and Shelly Stubbs; four brothers, David, Kenny, Danny, and Joey Denmark; and three grandchildren, Brandon Price, Collin Stubbs and Justine Roland.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
