Ervin Kelly Sr. 68, passed away at Hospice Savannah, Inc. Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023. He was born August 5th, 1955, in Savannah, GA. to Miss Lille Mae Green and the late Mr. Early JB Kelly. 

Ervin attended the public schools of Chatham County. He retired at a tender age due to a major work injury. He had many accomplishments throughout his life. He was his families personal "Tommy" like from the popular show "Martin." Always going to work, dressed neatly, and ready to crack jokes at any given moment. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Early Kelly Sr. Step father, Herbert Green. Five siblings Margaret Kelly, Deborah Robinson, Willie James Kelly, Early Kelly Jr. and Sharon Gray.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Miss Lillie Mae Green. A former wife Joy Arkwright Kelly and their three children Nicole Kelly (Dallas, TX), Ervin (Sonya) Kelly Jr. and Rodriquez Kelly (Shreveport,  LA). Three grandsons Jaylen Kelly, Joseph Arkwright, and Jaderes Kelly(Shreveport,LA). One granddaughter Imani Arkwright(Dallas, TX).

A former wife, Gloria Kelly. A very special friend, Inez Wilson. Five sisters Carolyn Skillern(Cleveland, OH), Ella Marie(Sylvania, GA), Barbara (Billy) Henry(Columbia SC), Jerlene Harrison and Patricia Wingster(Savannah,  GA). Two brothers, Larry (Pearlie) Copeland and Mark Jones(Savannah, GA). Two uncles, a host of nephews, nieces, and many loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at True Love Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. We will update our website with an obituary when it becomes available.
