Melissa and Family, I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Thank GOD for the time you were afforded to spend valuable time with your beloved Mother. GOD is you and your family's REFUGE. Melissa & Donna, I am so sorry that you are going through this. Nothing we say will reduce your pain yet hopefully knowing how much your mom matters to people will offer some warmth to you right now. I have such fond memories of your mom. Specifically, the way she made sweet tea on the stove in that small silver pot. She had a process & steeped the bags just so long. After it cooled a bit, she would serve it over ice in those frosty metal tumblers. Your home was a safe haven because of her. She was funny, kind, and always attentive to me as your friend. It was like I was family when I stayed over. She was blessed to have so many people to love-and to have so many who loved her in return. I love you both and my heart breaks with you. -Jackie

Donna and Melissa, I was shocked to hear about your mama. She was truly a gem. I never saw her without a smile on her face. And I remember that she had such a sweet laugh. She was always kind to everyone. And I remember that you guys have always been there at every major family event for us. I’m sorry I can’t make it back from cheyenne.
